A significant renovation to a late-19th century workers cottage, has seen the remnants of a 1970′s addition disappear and the spaces transform into light, contemporary house. Strong, restrained colours and materials define spaces and the north-facing sliding doors connect to the deck and outdoor area – effectively tripling the living space. Views to the neighbouring parks are framed to appropriate an extended sense of the outdoors; maximising the small property size.
